Social parties are a great way to just have some fun with your ballroom dancing. It does not matter what level you are at or how much you know. Ballroom dancers are a fun group of people. Everyone at some time or another had been a beginner too. Ballroom dancers will always dance socially to the level of your partner. So don't be afraid to show up and get on the floor. You will have a great time with a fun group of people. You will see folks performing various dances and steps. You will be able to try out your moves, probably learn some new ones too and make some friends as you have a wonderful night out.

We provide a wide selection of music and play all the popular dances. We also accept requests. A number of our teachers always attend to help the newer folks and also dance away with the more experience dancers. What a great way to spend and evening.

Where Can You Go Dancing Near Boston?

Boston may be known for its tea parties, but at Dance Fever we know Boston to be the city of dance parties. For years, Dance Fever has opened up its ballroom dancing studio to become a hot destination for dance enthusiasts and adventurous amateurs in the Newton and outlying Boston area. On many a Friday night, you'll find Dance Fever swinging to the sounds of jazz, gliding to a graceful waltz or spicing things up with a sexy salsa.

Dance is an international language where the music does the talking and you listen with your entire body. Don't spend an evening sitting in a dark movie theater when you and your partner could be surrounded by happy couples, moving to great music and dancing your cares away. Dance Fever's social dance parties are a great way to spend an exciting evening without spending more than you would on a movie. A nominal cover charge buys you an evening of dance in a professional setting, complimentary refreshments, a free dance lesson from internationally acclaimed dance instructors, and even a stunning performance by world class dancers.

Our Friday night dance parties in Newton are open to all skill levels, from beginner to advanced. The parties usually get started with a beginner lesson to show you the right steps, and then you're off on your own for an evening of salsa, rock & roll, waltz and other international ballroom dances. If you're fortunate, you may also catch a performance from world-class dance stars during our guest showcase. And, did we mention that dancing is great exercise?
